AATT Students Make History with First-Ever Student Government

In a landmark decision that launches a new era for student life, the students of AATT  have officially approved their constitution and elected the first-ever Student Government body. This pivotal moment marks the inauguration of the institution’s first student-led governance structure, establishing a direct and official voice for the student body.

The successful ratification of the constitution and the subsequent elections represent a massive step toward greater student self-governance, responsibility, and engagement within the AATT community.

Student Leaders Elected

The historic elections saw the formation of both the executive branch and a representative student legislature, referred to as the Senate.

The inaugural Executive Board, responsible for the day-to-day operations and execution of student initiatives, includes:

–          Rinor Kapllani – President

–          Dario Laze – Vice President

–          Irsa Doci – Chief of Staff

The newly elected Senate, which will serve as the legislative body to represent student interests across academic programs, includes:

–          Bjornis Kaso – EET program

–          Elen Shupuli – CIT program

–          Iden Muka – EET program

–          Jon Celoaliaj – CIT program

–          Joniand Kaci – EET program

This is of paramount importance to the future of AATT . The establishment of a formal Student Government is a powerful mechanism for institutionalizing student input, ensuring that student perspectives are central to administrative decisions and the overall campus experience.

In the near future, one of the primary responsibilities of the new Student Government is to support the official establishment and recognition of diverse student clubs in various fields – a crucial step to enrich campus life, create a greater sense of community, and provide students with valuable opportunities for skill development, leadership, and networking outside of their academic programs.

This monumental achievement not only provides a platform for change, but also cultivates a culture of civic responsibility, transparency, and leadership—skills that are invaluable for AATT  graduates entering the global workforce.
