Mission
The American Academy of Technology Tirana (AATT) is committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. Our focus is on two key study programs:
For the first time in Albania, we are introducing the American student-centered approach to teaching and to curriculum development, as well as study and research programs. Through a partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) Kosovo campus, our students will benefit from the same high-quality education and graduate with the same diploma as RIT New York and other RIT Global (Dubai, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Prishtina) students. We strive to bring the highest American values and standards to university education, preparing the professionals of the future.
Our mission is to cultivate a learning environment that promotes academic excellence, fosters innovation, and encourages personal and professional growth. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive community where students can thrive and reach their full potential. Through our rigorous academic programs, hands-on learning experiences, and strong industry partnerships, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to succeed in their careers and contribute positively to society.

Our joint Bachelor’s programs with RIT Kosovo, in Computer and Information Technology (CIT) and Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), open new opportunities for a successful future and a competitive career in an increasingly globalized world.

Our History
The Legacy of Harry Fultz Institute
Our roots trace back to the esteemed Harry Fultz Institute, founded in 1921, which played a pivotal role in shaping Albania’s technical education landscape. The institute became a cornerstone of engineering and industrial education, providing generations of students with the practical skills necessary for success in a rapidly changing world. Over the years, it has maintained a reputation for excellence in training skilled professionals who have gone on to make significant contributions to Albania’s economic and technological development.
In 2025, the Harry Fultz Institute entered a new era by partnering with the Rochester Institute of Technology Kosovo (RITK), to deliver RIT programs and degrees at AATT. This partnership will continue to honor the traditions of the Harry Fultz Institute while expanding the scope and impact of higher education in Albania. Our history is a testament to our commitment to excellence in education and our dedication to innovation and progress. We are proud of our heritage and the impact that the Harry Fultz Institute has had on the development of technical and vocational education in Albania. As we move forward, we remain committed to building on this legacy and continuing to provide high-quality education that prepares students for success in the modern world.
