
The American Academy of Tirana and Technology is thrilled to announce that Reid Pierce has joined our faculty, bringing an extraordinary interdisciplinary background to the AATT community. As a scholar whose work bridges history, global politics, philosophy, and environmentalism, Mr. Pierce embodies the diverse, world-class expertise that defines the RIT global faculty.
An Unparalleled Academic Journey
Mr. Pierce’s academic credentials span some of the most prestigious institutions in the world, reflecting a deep commitment to lifelong learning and a broad understanding of the human experience. His educational foundation includes:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
- An MBA from the renowned EDHEC Business School in France.
- An Ed.M. in Education Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
- An MA in Eastern Classics from St. John’s College, Santa Fe.
- A BA in History from the University of Arkansas.
Currently, Mr. Pierce is furthering his research as a PhD candidate in Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. This unique combination of law, business, education, and the humanities allows him to provide students with a holistic perspective on the challenges facing our modern world.
A Citizen of the World, Now in Tirana
Beyond his academic achievements, Mr. Pierce brings a wealth of cultural insight to the campus. Having lived and worked in India, Australia, the United States, Nepal, France, and Italy, he understands the nuances of global connectivity firsthand.
After traversing the globe, Reid has now made Tirana his home. His presence on the faculty offers AATT students a rare opportunity to learn from a mentor who has navigated diverse international systems and cultures. His interdisciplinary approach is designed to challenge students to think critically across traditional boundaries, preparing them for leadership in an increasingly complex global landscape.
