PRISHTINA, KOSOVO — Students from the AATT recently completed a productive visit to the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) campus, marking a significant moment for cross-campus synergy within the Rochester Institute of Technology global network.
The visit served as a platform for the Student Government bodies of both institutions to meet face-to-face. Leaders from the Tirana and Prishtina campuses exchanged ideas and discussed future avenues for joint initiatives, while students from various departments worked together on integrated academic assignments.
Innovation Through Global Partnerships
The timing of the visit coincided with the Google Developers Festival, hosted in partnership with RIT Kosovo. This major tech event drew a crowd of nearly 500 participants, including students, professional developers, and influential industry leaders.
Over the course of two days, AATT students participated in inspiring keynote talks and hands-on workshops. The festival provided a unique environment where academic learning met professional application, allowing students to engage directly with the latest trends in software development and digital innovation.
Strengthening the RIT Global Network
This exchange underscores the strength of the partnership between the Tirana and Prishtina campuses. By moving beyond traditional classroom settings, the visit allowed students to experience the scale of the RIT network firsthand.
The collaboration highlights a shared mission to provide students with international exposure and access to premier industry events, ensuring that the next generation of tech leaders in the Balkans is well-connected and globally competitive. These cross-campus engagements continue to be a cornerstone of the student experience at AATT, fostering a community that transcends national borders.
